Elementary School: St. Rocco’s School
Post High School Plans: After I graduate I will be attending Roger Williams University to study Architecture. I will get my masters degree and then go on to work for a firm. Throughout my 6 years of school, I would like to travel to Italy. I would also like to get different interships in different fields of architecture to see what type I would like to pursue in the future. I am excited to see what is to come.
Dream Job: One day I want to become a residential Architect and own my own business. I want to build and design houses in the New England area and become very good at my craft.
Who was your favorite teacher or staff member during your time at SHS?: Ms. Remka is my favorite teacher. She is a PE teacher here at Scituate High School and she is a nice, relaxing part of my day that I wish I got to enjoy more often. She is a great person to talk to, and she will always be there for whatever I need. She is a great support system and cheerleader and I will always be grateful to have met her.
What was your most favorite class you took during your time at SHS?: My senior year has definitely been my favorite year in my high school career and through that experience, my favorite class has to be my current art class with Ms. Feldman. I feel in my element when I am drawing and being creative.
What advice would you give to next year’s ninth-grade students?: I would say push yourself because you are always going to wish your freshman GPA was higher but also have fun because every year goes by faster and faster so participate and enjoy it because you won’t have those experiences again.
What makes SHS special?: I love the small classes at Scituate it is a blessing to have because you can get one on one attention from the teachers which helped my learning tremendously. I also enjoy the variety of classes that are offered here because I got to try many different fields to figure out a profession I might want to study in college. This solidified my decision to study architecture in college because I took a course in it this year.
